Madhyamgram students’ welfare society was formed as an organisation on 12^th January 2012 by a group of teachers and students aiming at the holistic development of students and children. Gradually it began to work for the underprivileged children of various areas in many districts of west bengal. It also began to emphasize on women empowerment, skill development, environmental issues, health-related areas, generating awareness about various socio-economical issues etc. Now it’s a govt registered ngo under act 1961.

We,the members and supporters of the society believe that we can dream of a better future ,only if we provide a better today to our students and children . Teachers are not only to impart subjective knowledge, but to stand by the students in all their needs is the holy responsibility of the organisation. So this organisation will work for the poor and needy students of various schools.

Our mission in MSWS is to make the life of people working here and the people everywhere we are working for ‘meaningful’ by adding a new horizon to them. This is why we are emphasizing maximum on children’s education, health and overall development. We are constantly trying to provide books and copies, sweaters, dresses , other educational equipments etc. To the poor children of school.Most of all we are providing them education by reaching them in their areas, mostly slums and underprivileged areas. Anyone can be apart of this society and contribute anything that maybe useful for the poor students.Come, spread your hands.....Let’s make a crying child smile.
